The fastest way to reach us is by email. We read every message and aim to respond within five business days; corrections to published data are prioritized.
General inquiries
What to send where
- Data corrections: include the URL of the page, the specific value you believe is wrong, and a link to the source you consulted (utility CCR, state inventory, EPA ECHO record, etc.).
- Press: include your outlet, deadline, and the question. We can usually turn around a quote within 48 hours.
- Partnerships: particularly water-test labs, filter manufacturers, and licensed plumber networks for lead service line replacement. Include service area and pricing if applicable.
- Privacy or data subject requests: see our privacy policy.
What we cannot help with
We are not a water utility, a regulator, or a medical practice. If your water is actively unsafe, contact your local utility (the phone number is on your water bill) or your state drinking-water program. If you have a health concern related to your water, talk to a clinician.
We are not on social media at launch. If you see an account claiming to be MyTapWater.us, it is not us.
